Trail on a mountain above Hakone, Japan
Since so many people have favorited this, let me give a bit of history about this deviation. I took this photo while my friend and I were hiking in Japan. The particular trail we chose was actually the remains of an old stone road to a mountain fortress of one of the old samurai-era rulers. Our goal was originally to find the ruins of that fortress, but we never succeeded. The trip was so beautiful and surreal it didn't matter to us much that we never found them, however. |

I miss Japan so much, but it really was such a great experience! I was really blessed that God has given me eyes to notice special beauty of what's there in the every day. It's such a great way of looking at the creation!
